Instructions for posters
On Tuesday, September 24th, starting from 17:50 we will hold the poster jamboree session, during which each presenter will have 3 minutes to present an “elevator pitch” of their work. The poster session will follow right after.
There will be a special award for the best poster and the best jamboree presenters.
The presenters are expected to come to EPIC with their own poster in hand, as no printing on-site service is foreseen. The posters should be A0 size portraits (84.1 x 118.9 cm).
Please, prepare also a few slides (3-4 maximum) for the jamboree session and send them as a PDF at epic2024workshop@gmail.com by Monday, September 16th.
We will create a single PDF with everyone’s slides.
Instructions for speakers
Each talk will be 30’long (+10′ for discussions). All talks must be uploaded on the indico the day before the presentation, preferably in .pdf format, using personal laptops/tablets will not be allowed.
Given the interdisciplinary nature of the workshop, we kindly ask all the speakers to organise their contributions so that they are introductory to the subject and not too specialised.
Moreover, to facilitate the discussion sessions, we also ask to add a slide at the end of the talk with 3-5 questions/thought-provoking-ideas to be discussed among all participants.
