Given the interdisciplinary nature of the workshop and the expected participation of PhD students and young researchers, we also organise a one-day pre-workshop school to be held on the 22nd of September (arrival expected on the 21st of September).

This will be made up of three lectures that should help students get acquainted with the material.

The lectures will be on:

  1. Precision physics with atoms (Lecturer: Dmitry Budker),
  2. Neutrino physics (Lecturer: Francesco Vissani),
  3. Nuclear Equation of States in the multimessenger era (Lecturer: Xavier Roca Maza).

Students will also participate in the workshop and will be given an opportunity to present a poster plus a brief few minutes teaser talk

Two 250 euro prizes for the best poster and best teaser talk will be awarded at the end of the workshop.

For PhD students, the additional night needed for the school is covered thanks to the sponsors. Moreover, we may be able to offer limited support aimed mainly, but not exclusively, at the young participants. In case you would like to apply for it, it can be indicated in the registration form.
